It has been brought to my attention that the limits on 5 year contracts should be expanded to include 4 years as well. We will have a league vote to determine if the rule should be amended. The rule amendments will only effect the NFL and NBA. This will need 13/20 "Yes" votes to be implemented.
Current Rules regarding contract limits:
NBA - Maximum of 6 - 5 year contracts.
NFL - Maximum of 10 - 5 year contracts.
Rule Proposition:
NBA - Maximum of 3 - 5 year contracts. Maximum of 3 - 4 year contracts.
NFL - Maximum of 5 - 5 year contracts. Maximum of 5 - 4 year contracts.
