Releasing a Player:
Post the player in the waiver wire. You will owe 50% for the current season, as well as 50% for the rest of the contract length.
Players on rookie contracts can be waived without penalty at any time.
Free Agency:
- You may NEVER go over the cap to sign a player. You may not offer a contract if you to do not have the funds for it.
- You may not sign and trade a player. You must keep that player rostered until the first game of the season. This does not effect in-season signings.
- Max 5 year contracts
- The minimum starting bid is 0.5M
- The minimum bid increase is 0.1M
- The bidder with the highest average annual salary will be awarded the player after the bid stands for 24 hours. For example:
4 Years, 12M total = 3M average annual salary
3 Years, 6M total = 2M average annual salary
The 4 year contract would win due to the higher average annual salary.
Hometown Discounts:
Owned for 2 complete seasons : 10% Discount off winning FA bid
Owned for 3 complete seasons : 15% Discount off winning FA bid
Owned for 4+ complete seasons : 20% Discount off winning FA bid
Hometown discounts are eligible for any player as long as you have owned them consecutively for the listed seasons and they are not a RFA. This is for true FA's only. You must win the free agent bidding for the hometown discount to apply.
D-League:
Only players on rookie contracts are eligible to be placed in the D-League. There salaries still must be paid regardless. You may promote and demote and unlimited amount of times per season.
Payments:
- You may not have more than 40M in outgoing payments in any given season.
- Money can only be paid out for the current season, and 1 season in advanced.
Rookie Draft Format:
- All contracts are 4 seasons. First two seasons are gaurenteed, the final 2 are options.
Picks 1-5 : 5.0M
Picks 6-10 : 4.0M
Picks 11-15 : 3.5M
Picks 16-20 : 3.0M
Picks 21-30 : 2.0M
Picks 31-40: 1.0M
After a players rookie contract expires he will become a restricted free agent. You will have the option to match his winning FA bid, as long as you have the necessary funds. Declining an option year will send the player straight to FA. No RFA option will be allowed if an option is declined.

Top 4 teams from each division will make the playoffs. 8 teams total. Tiebreaker will be head-head matchup, followed by divisional record.
