Attention everyone.
All 20 owners have responded to the activity check, and we are ready to go.
You may bid on catchers ONLY starting 6 PM EST, Jan 3rd.
Here are some very, very important reminders for the auction process:
- Each sport will be done once at a time. - Players will be bid upon in positional groups. - Each bid must stand for 24 hours for the signing to become official. - You will be required to sign at least 20 NFL players, 8 NBA players, and 24 MLB Players. You must fill all your starting lineup spots. - All players will be eligible for the auctions except MLB players who haven't exceeded 50 IP, or 150 AB in a single season. They will be included in the MiLB draft. - You may build any of your teams to your liking, however, if it is deemed you are building your team to tank, you will be abolished from the league. - You may NEVER go over the cap to sign a player. You may not offer a contract if you to do not have the funds for it. - The minimum starting bid is 0.5M - The minimum bid increase is 0.1M - The bidder with the highest average annual salary will be awarded the player after the bid stands for 24 hours. For example:
4 Years, 12M total = 3M average annual salary 3 Years, 6M total = 2M average annual salary
The 4 year contract would win due to the higher average annual salary.
Contract Limits:
Follow the guidelines for the limits on 5 year contracts for each league.
NFL: - Maximum of 10 players can be signed to 5 year contracts
MLB: - Maximum of 10 players can be signed to 5 year contracts
NBA: - Maximum of 6 players can be signed to 5 year contracts

I posted most of the notable players for each position. Feel free to add a player you want who is not listed. Please double check he is not listed under another position first, and make sure he meets the requirements.

ATTENTION LEAGUE;
- Second Base Auctions will open on Tuesday, January 13th, at 6:00 PM EST.
- Catchers will no longer be open for bidding when second base opens. The bidding process may continue past the 6PM EST deadline, but no more new bids may be made on other catchers.
- Reminder, please continue to keep your rosters updated on the forum. As you sign players, make sure to add them on your team.
- As the auction continues, keep in mind you need 5 infielders (1B/2B/3B/SS/INF) on your team, to fill your starting spots.
- Due to the actual real life NBA and NFL drafts occurring before we have a season under our belt, we most likely will be doing a lottery for the NFL and NBA drafts. I will update you on this at a later date.
- PLEASE, after the auction ends, trading will be open. WE NEED TRADE COMMITTEE MEMBERS. We need AT LEAST 3 more. (We only have 2 currently, Vik and I.) Fill out the application under "TC Application."

OF Auctions open Friday @ 6PM EST. Get ready for that one, going to hectic with the amount of players.
When OF opens, 3B is closed.
As the draft rounds go by, I will enforce the time limits more strictly. If you miss 2 picks in a row, your next pick will be autoselected by the LM's if you do not contact us.
I will not announce a date for the start of pitching auctions until we get further along in the draft. I would like to see 10-15 picks per day, minimum.
I can't emphasis enough that you need to make your picks in a timely manner. If you can't check in every few hours, PLEASE PM a list of players to me so I can make the pick for you. This will assure we aren't waiting around for hours at a time for you to log in.
I would like to be around Round 10-15 until we start the Pitching auctions. The quicker we move, the quicker we can get to the auctions.
