Minor Leagues Roster Size: 45 maximum - 20 minimum (You may never exceed these numbers)
- MLB players may be placed in the minor leagues. You must pay their salary and they will count against the limit. They do not count as prospects for the minimum limit if they are being paid.

- 1st - 10th Round Draft Picks - tradable for the current season, plus one season in advanced.
- Unowned prospects are eligible for the draft.
- International free agents who have signed prior to the draft, are eligible as well. (As long as they were minor league contracts.)
- All draftees are eligible as long as they signed. If they didnt sign they are not eligible.
- The draft will take place during the offseason.
All owners must have a completely filled out starting lineup during the season. Injuries will be noted. No tanking allowed. Owners could be sanctioned or dismissed from the league if found doing so.

Releasing a Player:
- Post the player in the waiver wire. You will owe 50% for the current season, as well as 50% for the rest of the contract length.
- Prospects can be released without penalty.
- Arbitration players can be released without penalty

- You may NEVER go over the cap to sign a player. You may not offer a contract if you to do not have the funds for it.
- You may not sign and trade a player. You must keep that player rostered until the first game of the season. This does not effect in-season signings.
- Max 5 year contracts
- The minimum starting bid is 0.5M
- The minimum bid increase is 0.1M
- The bidder with the highest average annual salary will be awarded the player after the bid stands for 24 hours. For example:
4 Years, 12M total = 3M average annual salary
3 Years, 6M total = 2M average annual salary
The 4 year contract would win due to the higher average annual salary.
Hometown Discounts:
Owned for 2 complete seasons : 10% Discount off winning FA bid
Owned for 3 complete seasons : 15% Discount off winning FA bid
Owned for 4+ complete seasons : 20% Discount off winning FA bid
Hometown discounts are eligible for any player as long as you have owned them consecutively for the listed seasons. You must win the free agent bidding for the hometown discount to apply.
Contracts:
When promoting a prospect, his salary will be 0.5M. His salary will remain 0.5M every season until he reaches arbitration in real life. Once a player reaches arbitration in real life, his salary will be determined by his performance. Follow the model to determine a players arbitration salary.

After adding the neccesary categories, please do the following:
1st Yr of Arbitration: Times his salary by 0.6
2nd Yr of Arbitration: Times his salary by 0.8
3rd Yr of Arbitration: Times his salary by 1 (What his salary adds up to be, will stay as is)
4th Yr of Arbitration: (Super 2 players only): Times his salary by 1.2
Some players might not meet any of these stats. If they do not meet any requirments, their salary will be 1.0M for the upcoming season. 1.0M is the minimum salary for any arbitration elgible player no matter what.
(Note: This model will not effect our league for quite sometime, as we are auctioning off every player above the 50/150 mark. It will be a few years before we will have to use these formulas.)
Once a prospect passes 50.0 IP or 150 AB in a single season, his contract becomes triggered. He will be owed his salary no matter if he is in your minor leagues or major leagues. A prospect under the 50/150 mark can be placed in your minor leagues free of charge.
You may release any arbitration eligible player at any time without any obligations to future or current seasons.
After a players arbitration years come to an end, he will become a free agent. To avoid losing an arbitration player at the end of his control, you may offer him a 1 year qualifying offer at 15.0M. This is only for players directly after losing arbitration control. There are no limits on how many qualifying offers can be used during the season.
Payments:
- You may not have more than 50M in outgoing payments in any given season.
- Money can only be paid out during the current season, and 1 season in advanced.
Playoffs:
Top 4 teams from each division will make the playoffs. 8 teams total. Tiebreaker will be head-head matchup, followed by divisional record.
