Houston Trades:
Craig Kimbrel, RP, (12.5M 2016 - 2M paid by PHI for 2015) to Detroit Daniel Murphy, 2B, (6.33M 2017 - 6M paid by TOR for 2015) to Detroit
Detroit Trades:
Dee Gordon, 2B, (10M 2019) to Houston AJ Burnett, SP, (1M 2015 - 1M paid by DET for 2015) to Houston FYPD 1st DET to Houston FYPD 4th DET to Houston
Astros accept.
Good bye, saves, and welcome home, stolen bases. I'm not willing to wait and guess on how good Murphy will wind up being, and I'm counting on the stacked East to drop DET's pick into the early single-digits. I also get a free rental of a decent pitcher in Burnett. Finally, Kimbrel is ridiculously overpaid, and I'm glad to be rid of him. Good dealing with Detroit.
I got left with nothin but a Penny...so I had to learn to do it the Hardaway.

I accept. tough losing Gordon, but I get a cheaper 2B with some upside. and I get the best closer in the game in a cat that I suffered in. I'm not big on picks because prospects are so unknown in my opinion. Good dealing with Houston as normal.
Approve. Murphy is definitely better than Dee and I prefer the best closer in the game to a mediocre starter but the picks almost even it out. Still a bit in Detroit's favor.
