spencer Adams (prospect)

Denver trades:

chris archer (7M 2019) Denver agrees to pay 4M for 2015 and 2016)
shane victorino (0.5m 2015)
2015 6th round draft pick

Oakland accepts.

I had some extra Bat depth after my trade with Toronto which allowed me to add some depth to my arms. Adding the draft pick ensured that I could keep my minor league roster up to snuff.

Had rotation depth after recently acquiring Paxton and this trade fills a need for another bat in the lineup with some pop and some speed. Plus, Adams is a nice addition to the farm system.

I agree with Houston that the payments is a little much but not enough to veto. Adams is a very nice prospect and Jennings is solid.
