Houston Trades: Clayton Kershaw, SP, (25M 2018) to Oakland (20M paid by SF 2015) Desmond Jennings, OF, (3.5M 2016) to Oakland
Oakland Trades: Buster Posey, C, (16M 2019) to Houston (8.5M paid 2015) Tyler Kolek, SP, (PROSPECT) to Houston 2015 FYPD 4th OAK to Houston Joey Gallo, 3B, (PROSPECT) to Cleveland
Cleveland Trades: Carlos Rodon, SP, (PROSPECT) to Houston Jung-Ho-Kang, SS, (2.5M 2016) to Houston
Astros accept.
Shed salary? Check. Add both of the top 2014 Draft hurlers? Check. Get best catcher by a mile? Check. Get personal favorite, Kang? Check. Done deal.
Please consider the previous Oakland-Houston deal voided. It wasn't eligible anyways because OAK needs to do administrative work. EDIT: To head off the ensuing mutiny in the chat, OAK has agreed to pay 8.5M on Buster Posey in 2015 after Cleveland accepted the trade. Since CLE wasn't involved in that part, I assume he doesn't need to reaccept.

Accept. I give Rodon and Kang for Gallo. I think Rodon and Gallo are a toss up. I don't have a clue what Kang will do and am okay with not paying 2.5M in figuring it out.

Approve. Nice haul for Kershaw in my opinion. Grabbing 2 of the top prospects and getting a solid hitter in Posey is nice. Although I prefer Rondon to Gallo I know others feel differently so the CLE part of the trade is fair as well. For OAK Kershaw is the best SP in the game so basically whatever you'd give up is reasonable.
