I accept. I needed to add a nice bat and I believe Ellsbury will put up very good #s again this year and is on a fairly reasonable deal. Gonzalez is also a very solid replacement for Sale and I add a very nice young SP prospect.

I felt like if I'm planning on contending this year. I needed to make a move to boost my pitching staff.

While I wasn't happy to see Ellsbury and Owens go, I am thrilled to aquire a true ace in Sale.

I also pickup 2 decent prospects that I had my eye on in the draft.
