Houston Trades: Lucas Giolito, SP, (PROSPECT) to San Francisco Dylan Bundy, SP, (PROSPECT) to San Francisco Nick Gordon, SS, (PROSPECT) to San Francisco
San Francisco Trades: Clayton Kershaw, SP, LAD, (25M 2018 with a payment of 20M in 2015) to Houston
Astros accept.
Not much to say that isn't said by the trade...can you spell "WIN NOW"? Gonna take some incredibly acrobatic accounting to keep the core of Donaldson, Kershaw, Trout, and Hernandez together.

I agree. the Cy Young and MVP winner didn't last long in my team after him my pitching staff sucks and I have no cap space so trading my best and more expensive player makes sense and about the payment Troy told me we can't sign prospects during the season so I don't need the cap space this season and I got 2 prospects that could turn in aces and I like Gordon's upside good luck Houston I think you're in right path to win it all this season

Sorry but I have to veto it. It's like I will lend you some money so you can win it this year Houston. And because I don't have any chance this season, I will just walk away from it until next year.
This will change the power balance of this league by a mile.

I'm sorry, but please refrain from voting unless you are on the trade committee.
Trade Committee: Troy (Toronto), Vik (Seattle), Dylan (Philly), Jeremy (Minnesota) , Matt (Chicago), Gregory (Houston)
If you have interest in being on the committee, please ask a LM to add you.
Now on to the trade. It's a good return for Kershaw, it really is. There is nothing wrong with this in terms of breaking any rules or anything, it's perfectly fair. Dylan Bundy is healthy, and ready to dominate (he will.) Giolito, while 2 years away, is already the consensus top pitching prospect in baseball. (Dylan Bundy was rated higher than Giolito before Bundy got TJ.) And then SF gets one of the best SS prospects in the league, and the best in the 2014 MLB draft.
All of this in return for the best SP in the game at 25M per season. Very hard to fit a contract like that on your team, but he's certainly worth it. SF makes a one time payment of 20M on Kershaws contract, just for this season, to make the deal work. Next season, he is 25M richer.
Houston looks really good, but I would have liked to see what Trout/Stanton/Altuve/Kershaw would have done.
Overall, this is fair value, and does not warrant a veto from me. This trade is in line with all league rules. (Assuming HOU doesn't exceed the salary cap on this trade.)
Yes, HOU may win this season. He may be the favorite next season. But honestly, I don't know where his team will be in three years. This is pretty much a max return for Kershaw by SF, good job by SF in getting the most out of a incredibly expensive player.
